Preparations were being made on Monday for the Grand Raid Cathares. This event, which starts on Thursday 16th October, involves 3 different races, 1 of 39km, 1 of 96km and 1 of 170km. The runners will all pass through Arques chateau where some of the people of the village are on hand to provide support and refreshments. We're doing our shift on Friday from 12 until 6pm, should be good fun!
